Euro-Asian Oil Transportation Corridor project involves construction of a new alternative oil transportation route from the Caspian Sea region to European consumers.
The Corridor goes through the territory of Azerbaijan Republic, Georgia, the Black Sea, Ukraine and Poland.
The Caspian crude oil will be delivered by this route to consumers in Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany and Baltic countries.
The Project will be executed in a few stages.
During the first stage up to 10 MTA of crude oil will be supplied to consumers in Ukraine, Slovakia and Czech Republic. It involves transition to averse of Odessa-Brody oil pipeline. The first stage requires the use of existing oil transportation infrastructure only and can be realized in the nearest future.
During the second stage the construction of oil pipeline which will connect Ukrainian and Polish oil transportation systems is planned. It will open the way for transportation of Caspian crude oil to consumers in Poland and Germany as well as through Gdansk oil terminal to the Baltic countries.
The third stage includes extension of flow capacity of the constructed route up to 40 MTA.
